Application

Rust Convertor as an Aerosol is a surface treatment/primer for rusted surfaces. Due to its reactivity on rust and iron, it converts rust into a stable primer coat that can be coated with most paints. Its high temperature resistance also allows applications on hot surfaces up to +180°C. For industrial applications such as machinery, agricultural machinery, tank construction, steel structures and automotive maintenance/repair.

Instructions

1. Remove any loose rust, dirt, grease, oil and salt residues.

2. Shake can well before use. Keep spray distance at 20 - 30 cm.

3. Spray 2 or 3 thin layers without flash-off time.

4. Let the layer convert and dry.

5. Sand the layer to improve adhesion of the next layer, preferably an

anti-corrosive primer.
